Dustine, found inspiration in the uncharted corners of the world – namely Africa.. Nature and people have brought colour and life to her canvas. Born in Zimbabwe she is a self-taught artist, her innate creativity and the vibrant tapestry of life experiences woven into her art.

Despite lacking a trained artistic background, Dustine sees the divine in every stroke of her brush, considering God as her ultimate teacher. Her art mirrors the beauty she discovers in both the ordinary and extraordinary of daily life situations – those unscripted moments.

Working with water colours and mixed media is her preferred form of expression however she is now exploring didgiatl art (less mess to clean up at the end of the day). She has blended traditional techniques with her own creative thoughts, pushing the boundaries of what appears on the canvas.

Digital enhancement is a  natural extension and something Dustine is currently exploring along the lines of surface pattern design.
Her creations speak a universal language, resonating with those who encounter her art across the globe from New Zealand to Zimbabwe. Each piece tells a story of the  joy of creativity hopefully awakening something deep inside those who purchase it.
